Woke up at 9.15am on a Sunday morning. Can you believe it? It's so late it's not even funny, all because of a forgotten morning call you see...

Anyway, service was good though simple. It's about conquering your mountains. Speaking about mountains, I have MANY mountains to conquer, just like the many pimples you see on sad people's faces =X.

Went to LJS to eat. Then went town to eat again at LJS LOL. What the poke, life in Singapore is getting sadder and sadder.

Saturday evening was spent with an outing with my army mates. Soooo many people came. The venue was at some hidden place at Beach road? We had the whole area to ourselves and I swore to myself that I'm going to gorge myself to death there.

True enough, I managed to shamelessly stuff around 20 chicken wings? and many friend prawns, cakes, fruits and other food stuff into my black hole. It was worth it haha.
Watched them play pool and actually I spend most of the time watching the cheesy chinese period drama playing on Channel 8 at that time. Didn't join in the card games though.

Anyway back to Sunday, I love LJS because they let us play bridge there for many many hours! unlike the other fast food restaurants whose managers strut around with watchful eyes trying to catch anyone who is not busy filling their mouths with their junk to chase them out with a giant kentucky drum stick in their hand or maybe a uber huge french fries if it's in mac.

Went Topshop for a while. Took photos of me wearing big glasses. Got told by the guy assistant there that no photos was allowed. Felt abit embarrased. Couldn't that guy quietly come to us and tell us that? Does he have to shout?

The only reason I can think of to justify his action is probably he got scolded by his manager earlier or he is just suffering from loneliness, that's why he needs to make himself HEARD. But too bad, the damage's done ahha.

Cool album from the good ship Arcade Fire. I never listened to the Arcade Fire and I hated this album when I first heard it but after repeated tries, I like it!.

It's really a different standout album from the rest of the baroque pop genres, in fact, the sound is totally refreshing. From the name Neon Bible you can probably guess that it's a very hymnal kind of album, with lots of prolonged troubled organ chords and hymnish melodies.

LOTS of weird instruments you can hear too, which makes this band really interesting. It starts off with Black mirror, a really unique and dark song, then moves on to Keep the car running, a faster paced song and goes on all the way to track 11. A dark journey if you listen to the whole album in one sitting. My favourite songs are definitly Intervention and Ocean of noise. I like the build up in both songs, very melancholic and isolated.

Latest album from Avril Lavigne.

Tracks in bold is a must listen!.

Overall the new album sounds very bratty to me, especially when the starting track is "Girlfriend". In fact, the whole album sounds very upbeat itself, even Avril herself confesses to it lol.

However it does have it's own share of slow emo songs. My favourites are definitely "Hot" and "Innocence".

The songs on this album is definitely a change from the previous albums, the songs now sound more rock, which I think Avril is at best in this genre, and she does not deviate to try new genres of music like other artistes tends to do once they release a few albums.

Definitely a good album to listen to, especially if you like emo songs.
